CDC Provides Resource on How to “Sell” Program Accomplishments

A newly developed tool, “Impact and Value: Telling Your Program’s Story,” provides state and other public health programs with practical methods for documenting program achievements.  The workbook defines success story, describes different types of stories, and discusses methods for collecting and writing stories.  It includes examples of different types of success stories gathered from CDC-funded state oral health programs.  A data collection tool also is provided.  The workbook and data collection tool are available at www.cdc.gov/OralHealth/library/success_stories_wkbk.htm.
